Jackal hides are a rather unusual find, and this vintage one used to be an old rug; the leather's still strong, though, so I decided to make it into something gorgeous! I folded the hide over so that the head forms the bottom of the foldover flap. The strap and decorative braids are made from vintage secondhand yarn, decorated with lovely glass crow beads. This is a wonderfully roomy bag, with plenty of space for a couple of paperback books, a small tablet computer, a collection of ritual tools, and other important items.
