Secondhand/recycled materials: Leather, vintage mink hide, fabric
Pouch dimensions: 9" x 9" (not including tails and feet)

Description: I rescued these vintage mink from an old stole I got from an antique shop. I removed all the old stitching and filler, though I left the forms and eyes in the faces. I backed the hides with secondhand fabric to make them stronger for stitching, and I stitched a panel of leather to the front to create a roomy bag, a lovely red-brown hide. The tail hangs down as its own decoration, and the artificial sinew braided cord, though slender, is quite strong. A great pouch for carrying ritual tools, wallet and other personal items, even small books!
