Description: When I got this bobcat skull, the poor thing was damaged, with a post-mortem hole in the head and a crack down the top of the cranium. I decided to make the most of a bad situation; I painted the skull in acrylics and sealed it. Then I added some fake grass from secondhand floral supplies, and added a "nose ring" made from heavy-duty jewelry wire that I distressed by hand, and a hand-painted ring of whitetail deer antler. This glorious beast is on a necklace of braided waxed cord and artificial sinew, with glass crow and shiny copper beads. It's a stunning piece, and can either be worn for festival, ritual, or costume, or hung on the wall as part of a shrine or other sacred decor.
