New headdresses - fox, coyote, hybrid, javelina!

Finally got some new full hide headdresses up on the Green Wolf Etsy shop [link] ! There are a few foxes, a coyote and a coyote hybrid, and the javelina is back!

This batch reminded me of why I like working with damaged hides so much. While it can be fun to start with one in better shape, with little to no damage and all that, I love the challenge of taking a pelt that’s been chewed up, torn, and otherwise consigned to “wallhanger” status, and making it into something more dynamic. Each may have its own imperfections, but they remind me of the scars and healed wounds we all have over time.
