Description
(Click the pics for bigger versions and better detail!)
Materials: Coyote skin, leather, acrylic paint
Description: This is a 'yote of a different color! He's a brilliant red, very much like a red fox in tone, with a lovely pelt. When I got him his legs were missing, and his poor muzzle had a big chunk missing out of the end. I stitched him back together, and he was happier not having a hole in his nose! He also wanted just a tiny bit of extra embellishment, so I did a bit of additional painting around his eyes.
He measures 55" from tip to tip, and he has straps to tie him on at the chin and waist/hips. he's a rather happy, good-natured spirit who has taken the rough spots in his life (and afterlife) in stride. He'd be a good dancing skin for dancers of all experience levels and abilities, though he has a fierce, protective streak, which would make him a good companion for journeying and other spiritual work.
