Elhaz moose antler necklace

This simple, beautiful necklace is made from a hand-carved piece of moose antler, just under 1" long. I carved it with two Elhaz runes, Elhaz meaning "elk", the European name for the moose (Alces alces). Because Elhaz is a protective rune, I made one smaller than the other to signify the protection a mother moose gives her young. The pendant is on a cord I hand-braided out of dark brown waxed cord; it is adjustable, and can be as long as 28".
