Description: I created the base of this knife with a real gray wolf leg bone and a water buffalo horn blade. I painted the wolf bone black, and added one of my favorite quotes from Carl Sandburg's poem "The Wilderness": "I keep this wolf because the Wilderness gave it to me..." The acrylic paint has been sealed to help protect against scratches and other damage. I finished the knife with black wolf fur around the hilt.

The sheath is made from part of the legskin of a black wolf, stitched securely to black deerskin to make a comfortable sheath. The front is decorated with a handmade ceramic wolf button and black deerskin tassels, and the sheath may be hung from a belt or on a wall with black deerskin belt loops.

This knife is NOT sharp; horn will not hold an edge well. It is, however, a good ritual knife, lightweight and easy to hold. It has calm, quiet, but strong Wolf energy.
