New or reclaimed from industry materials: Deerskin leather, acrylic paint, sealant
Secondhand/recycled materials: Jackal pelt
Description: Jackal hides are quite hard to come by, so this is a rather rare offering in my shop! It's an older jackal headdress made from a hide I got from a private collection. I had to stitch up a pretty nasty rip on one side, which does change the shape of the hide near his shoulder, and he has no legs, but otherwise he's in lovely condition. His face and ears reshaped very well, and he has beautiful coloration. He's nicely lightweight so he can be worn for dancing and ritual for hours without causing neck strain, and he measures 47" from tip of nose to tip of tail. I have no idea when I will get another of these, so better to buy now!
